​Through Gates of Garnet and Gold is a wonderful blend of dark and urban fantasy. The stakes and tensions are high, creating a fast-paced and engaging novella. Despite being novella length, readers will be left feeling as if they have gone on a worthy adventure and crave more of the series.

Bloodlust Blues hits the mark on urban fantasy and supernatural elements, but the emotional side of the story is lacking.
