Blurb for Reap, Sow

The halls are familiar. Lucianne "Lucky" Boyle knows that much. But how she came to be in this strange place that tries to make itself look like home is a mystery. Filled with doors that have no handles, rooms that shift to almost familiar, and faceless people in blue, Lucky is determined to find a way out to get back to her family and the man she loves. Until her family starts to show up, one by one, to lead her down a dark and twisted path that ends in a terrible truth.

Reap, Sow Book Review

Reap, Sow does an excellent job blending together psychological horror and a loss of self. This novel dives into how guilt can eat away at a person through the years and how terrifying a person's life can become.

S.H Cooper uses horrific imagery and just the right amount of emotional tension to keep readers invested. Each chapter builds on a sense of unease, warping the surroundings and peeling back the layers of Lucky's story.

And the ending is no less startling than the beginning. Hints are dropped along the path, and some may guess what happens, but nevertheless it is well worth the journey to get to the end. This was a great blend of horror elements and a quick, satisfying read.
