Blurb for Mistaken Captives
When Faith showed up to work a gig as a server at a wedding dinner, she never expected to be kidnapped, much less to be faced with proof that werewolves are real. A mistaken identity has landed her squarely in the middle of a Were feud, the Russians against the Roanoke pack. Unless she uses all her diplomacy to rein in Laurence, the Were captured with her, the pair may be the first casualties…
A novella in the SILVER universe.

Mistaken Captives Book Review
Mistaken Captives introduces readers to the world of werewolves in a unique way. While it can be a common trope for characters to stumble into the supernatural, Rhiannon Held flipped the expectations. When Faith arrives at a wedding to cater, a job her boss neglected to tell her was cancelled, she ends up accidentally kidnapped by werewolves. In a case of mistaken identity, Faith finds herself navigating a dangerous world she never knew existed, having to pretend she is someone she’s never met. Or else she’s going to wind up dead.
Faith’s crash course in the culture and mythology of werewolves is quite the ride. Readers will be able to sink into her first hand experience where she only has a reluctant werewolf and her knowledge of police procedurals to go on. But she is determined to survive, and her drive to escape an impossible situation will keep up the excitement throughout the novella.
And woven within the tension and action driven scenes, attraction sneaks in. An attraction that doesn’t quite fit with the life or death circumstances. Even Faith admits her desire is misplaced, yet it surfaces time and time again. For readers who enjoy some spice, it may be welcome, though it throws the story off course a slight bit.
If you are a reader looking for a snippet into the world of werewolves, a bit of steam, and an independent female lead, Mistaken Captives will be the novella for you.
