While Gods & Monsters expands the world of Serpent & Dove, this added world-building made the story hit quite a few lulls.

Blood & Honey takes a step back from young adult romance and builds up the fantasy elements of the series.

Serpent & Dove is a well crafted story of enemies to lovers.

Our favorite witch is back in the kitchen cooking up complex spells and risking her life for those she loves.

As always, the characters were a delight to read about and the magic slinging action kept me engaged.
